2021, a year of lock-downs, hybrid working, zoom calls, vaccinations (apparently a fourth could be on the way), and COP26, Market Research has never been as important as it is right now.
At Critical Research, our ability to be adaptable to the challenges of 2021, has meant we have continued to work in close partnership with our clients, advising on the best approach to gain genuine insights that add real value to their business
And as the year draws to a close, and we hold our breath for what 2022 looks like, here are a few special mentions from us to those that have made our year.
Ben Farr: Working with such an awesome team at Critical. I love working with them – and looking forward to 2022!”
James Hopkins: My particular highlight was helping the Money and Pensions Service deliver 10,000+ interviews for the Adult Financial Well-being survey, something which feels particularly important this year, as it is helping to highlight the divide between communities most affected by the pandemic, and those largely unaffected.
And now as the year comes to a close we are helping the FCA prepare for the Financial Lives 2022 survey, which will look at the longer-lasting impacts of the pandemic on people’s finances, levels of debt, and general well-being.
Sam Day: It’s been great to resume face-to-face research, and our field team has been fantastic at adapting to the new protocols and requirements. I would like to say a big thank you to all of our field supervisors and interviewers for your hard work, couldn’t have done it without you!
Kay Rossiter-Base: Working collaboratively like never before with the teams in Critical and within Ofcom to deliver new and existing projects under very challenging circumstances
Nicole Moncrieffe: My first few months at Critical have been so lovely. Everyone has been so welcoming, and I really appreciate all of the support that I have been given since starting in October.
Phil Reilly: I’d like to say a big thank you, in particular, to Nick Williams this year for his tireless enthusiasm and partnership this year – especially with The Prince’s Trust and Dignity Funerals. We’ve formed quite a good dynamic between us on mixed-method projects it seems!
Katrina Rayment: I cannot thank everyone enough for all the help they have given me, and for supporting me. A huge thank you to Ellen who has been an absolute superstar, I appreciate all your hard work so much 😊 Merry Christmas everyone – and here’s to actually having my first Christmas party next year!
Freya-Lilly Lampreia: I have been made to feel so welcome from the very beginning by everyone. I would like to say a huge thank you to Katrina and Ellen for all their help, they have been nothing but patient, kind, and understanding
Karen Dowley: The year has had its moments – but being able to see the people you work with (in the flesh) for conversation, support, encouragement, fun, and lots of laughter has definitely brought a sense of normality. (If you can call us all normal 😉)
Merry Christmas to all of our clients, suppliers, and of course our amazing team.
Here’s to 2022!
