Critical Research is incredibly proud to have played a key role in the design, analysis, and reporting of the FCA’s latest wave of the Financial Lives Survey.
The headline findings and detailed report have been published today and can be accessed here.
The research findings have been launched in conjunction with the FCA’s new Consumer Duty which comes into effect on 31 July 2023.
The aim is to set higher and clearer consumer protection standards across financial services, requiring financial services firms to put their customers’ needs first.
Consumer Duty will require some firms to make considerable changes to their approach and ensure they are able to demonstrate they act in good faith toward customers. To avoid foreseeable harm – especially to those in vulnerable circumstances, and support customers to pursue their financial objectives.
With such a detailed understanding of Consumer Duty, Critical Research is well-placed to help financial services firms to measure and improve their approach under these new guidelines, using customer surveys.
