FCA Financial Lives survey in the news

Our work with the FCA on the Financial Lives survey continues to get exposure in the national news. As well as producing the data tables and conducting the analysis of the data for Financial Lives, Critical Research has also designed and conducted several complete follow-up surveys with Financial Lives participants. These re-interview surveys are weighted to be representative of all UK adults and ensure the results are as up-to-date as possible, with for example further results about the current cost of living crisis which many people are facing at the moment.

As well as large-scale mixed-method surveys, here at Critical, we speak to individuals in one-on-one in-depth interviews to hear their own stories. In the BBC article, Samantha’s views are compelling to hear first-hand, and pen portraits like these can really help bring the numbers to life.
